keeping it to your people

Plenty of couples don’t want the day out in the open, and that’s the default here: a new gallery is reachable by its link and nothing else. It isn’t listed anywhere and search engines are told to leave it alone. Being findable is a switch you flip on purpose, never something that happens to you.

From there you can go narrower in two ways, and you can use both:

A viewing passwordVisitors meet a password page first. Share it with the guest list and nobody else gets in — not even with the link.

A family groupA private circle you invite both sides into. Members sign in to see it; there’s no public page, and the group is never listed or indexed.

Both families, one placeEveryone in the group can share their own galleries in too — so the honeymoon, the first house and next year’s Christmas all land in the same private circle.

Two things worth knowing before you rely on it. A group only ever lists galleries that are public-by-link, so a password-protected one stays hidden even from your own group — pick one approach per gallery. And joining a group needs an Our Heroes account, which is free for anyone who isn’t starting a gallery of their own.

how a wedding gallery is put together

Upload the photographs your photographer sent — drag a batch in and they upload in the background. Then give the day its shape with pages: getting ready, the ceremony, the party. Each page gets its own lead photograph and a title, and you can write between the pictures wherever the day needs explaining.

A year comes with room for 250 photographs, shared across every gallery you make, and you can add more whenever you need them.

Send the link to everyone. They can read it on a phone, leave a note in the guestbook, and come back to it in ten years. It stays exactly as you arranged it.

Your photographs stay yours. Download every one any time, with a spreadsheet of every caption and date. Leaving never means losing them.

Nothing is ever shared on your behalf. Discovery is off until you turn it on, setting a password withdraws a gallery from the homepage automatically, and a group is visible only to the people in it.
